What is the best way to get advertisers for my website?
By
I have a website that is similar to “youtube”. it is www.mushtube.com . the difference is, is that it is an all sports version. I am currently looking for advertisers. the good part is that we have 350,000 hits in 13 days. now I have done a lot of research on pricing. but now I am just looking for people to advertise. Another question I have is are there companies out there who will find advertisers for you? Any help would be much appreciated.

There are sites like alexa.com, etc that monitors web traffic. If you sign up for free with them and add the java code for your site then it will list your approx web traffic. They rank big companies, so if you are on there then companies (advertisers) are always looking.

There are many ad agencies around who will find advertisers for you. Some are straightforward banner ads, while some are called contextual advertising agencies wherein they serve ads based on the content of your audience
Since you just started, you can sell your own ads + use an ad agency. The benefit is that some of these advertisers may see how your site performs in their campaign and then advertise directly on your site. Using an ad agency can also help you get started in monetizing your site through advertising as it takes a lot of time and effort to sell ads yourself
Here are some banner ads network

Contextual advertising are text ads delivered based on the content of the web page using an automated system.
