I am not very sure but my feeling is… AD VALUE is generated by its contents, lay out, intrinsic worth, appearance etc. Media value in Newspaper advertising depends upon the Newspaper’s standing, its circulation, worthiness of its contents, its editorial, and its reporting value. May be I am right or wrong.

The AD Value is the value of its content, the relevancy as well as the creativity of it.
Whereas the MEDIA VALUE is the publication in which the newspapers is capable of circulating either locally of globally.
The latter may be packaged t in the form of its quality , the prestige as well as the awards garnered.

MEDIA VALUE can either be in print, television or video.
The latest technology would be video web mailing as well as video streaming.

The ad value is the money spent on putting the ad in the media, where as the media value is the relative importance of a particular ad / information circulating in the media.
